The INFERNO partners met in Tyndall National Institute, in Cork, Ireland, on October 14 and 15, 2024. It was the first in-person consortium meeting of the project, establishing important directions and work plans for all partners, especially for the upcoming year.
The coordination and host of the event, Tyndall National Institute, also led partners on a tour through several labs of the institution, such as the Photonic packaging lab (in a partnership of Tyndall with Ficontec), the Open Access Characterisation Facility (OACF), the Nano-interconnection lab, and the Packaging and component analysis lab. Such premises are relevant for INFERNO for packaging and development of the hybrid system, and also for thermoelectric and thermomechanical characterisation.
