INFERNO at the EU Green Week 2026

The 26th edition of EU Green Week puts the spotlight on the business case for nature, demonstrating that a nature-positive economy is essential for Europe’s prosperity, resilience, and competitiveness.

INFERNO, together with eight EU-funded projects, will be one of the partner events of the EU Green Week 2026, with the webinar “The Green Blueprint: Investing in a Nature-Positive Economy for Europe” happening on June 16, 2026.

This event brings together projects in Agriculture, Energy, Construction, and Circular Industry to answer: How do we invest our resources to protect the planet while driving economic competitiveness? and aims to transcends traditional silos, bringing together breakthroughs in Agriculture, Energy, and Circular Industry to protect the planet while driving economic competitiveness.

The represent a diversified “portfolio” of investments in Europe’s future:

  • Investing in the land and food systems: Through AgRimate, we are deploying precision AR and exoskeletons for pruning, INNO4CFIs for carbon farming to transform how we interact with our soil, and the sustainable management of wet landscapes (paludiculture) through PaluWise. These projects focus on restoring ecosystems while securing our food supply.
  • Investing in clean energy and  industry: The transition to a fossil-free future is powered by the AI-driven wind insights of TWAIN, the revolutionary seawater electrolysers of Sea4Volt, and the industrial energy harvesting of INFERNO. These projects ensure that our energy is as clean as the nature it powers.
  • Investing in circularity and  space: By reimagining how we build our homes through SNUG, how we transform the peri-urban areas into hubs of climate-neutral innovation and social equity with SpurUP, and how we improve textile circularity through intelligent automation with STREP, we are ensuring that the “space” we occupy and the “resources” we wear leave a positive footprint on the environment.
